Private equity firm KKR has acquired a $377m (€340m) US portfolio of six fully-let industrial logistics properties.

The properties are located in infill submarkets across Seattle, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New Jersey and the San Francisco Bay Area.

The nearly 2m sqft portfolio brings KKR’s total US warehouse acquisitions for the year to nearly 6m sqft, the company said.

Ben Brudney, real estate managing director for US industrial investments, said: “We are excited to purchase these six well positioned properties as we continue to grow our national portfolio of well-diversified, carefully selected industrial assets.

“We think high quality assets in infill locations near diverse demand drivers and accommodative labour forces will be increasingly difficult to reproduce in the coming years.”
