KGAL Investment Management has acquired a wind farm in northwestern Germany for an institutional fund mandate.
The manager has acquired the Rekum wind farm located near Bremen, on the northern state border with Lower Saxony, from Energiequelle
Financial details were undisclosed.
The project involves repowering the site to a future total capacity of 14MW and has already secured a 20-year feed-in tariff under the German Renewable Energy Sources Act 2023, KGAL said.
Christopher Tschamler, head of core investments sustainable infrastructure at KGAL, said: ”The Rekum wind farm benefits from a favourable feed-in tariff combined with a robust wind resource. It offers stable, long-term cash flows with an attractive risk-adjusted return.”
