The KanAm Grund Group has expanded its real asset product offerings for institutional clients with the creation of a new sales company.

The German fund manager said the new StepWise Capital sales company - a subsidiary of KanAm Grund Real Estate Asset Management - has been set up to offer ”one-stop support for a variety of products and asset classes”.

The business, which will be launched next year, is to be led by managing director Sascha Schadly, from the KanAm Grund Group, responsible for fund management and institutional sales. Oliver Brandt and Moritz Weiß will also join as managing partners in April next year.

Brandt most recently worked on real asset sales at the Altira Group, Wells Real Estate Funds and Selinus Capital Advisors.  Weiß’s most recent position was at Selinus Capital Advisors.

In addition to larger special real estate funds for several investors, StepWise plans to provide tailored solutions in the form of club deals or for individual clients, KanAm said.

”The new StepWise sales company will also see the KanAm Grund Group including other real asset product types such as private equity, private/corporate debt, infrastructure and real estate debt in its sales portfolio, thus ensuring effective support for institutional clients through a manageable number of products from select partners,” the manager said.
