Green Arrow Capital is strengthening its footprint in Italy’s northern regions with the acquisition of biomethane plants for €75m.

The Italian alternative investment manager, through its Green Arrow Energy Fund (GAEF) has agreed to buy a majority stake in a Lombardy-based Biomethane production plant owner.

The vendor Lazzari & Lucchini will remain a minority shareholder, will be actively involved in the plant’s management.

Green Arrow said the acquisition is the initial part of a broader plan to buy majority stakes in another 5 plants in Lombardy with a total value of €75m.
