Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation is looking to invest $525m (€473m) in three infrastructure funds.

The pension fund has made the capital available as part of its investment plan for its 2017-18 fiscal year, according to a board meeting document.

The funds could have a US or international focus.

Alaska Permanent Fund has made infrastructure investments in the past with 10 companies, investing in both listed and private markets.

The managers include Global Infrastructure Partners, EQT, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.

The pension fund has also invested in infrastructure on a direct basis without the aid of an external manager.

Alaska Permanent Fund is looking to invest in a variety of infrastructure sectors, including energy, transportation, water and waste.

The pension fund has a 5% target allocation to private infrastructure, private credit and income opportunities.
