Invesco’s real estate arm has bought a 56-unit townhouse development in Denmark from CECN and Ejendomsselskabet Casa Nord.
Invesco Real Estate has acquired the fully-let Lammekær development in a suburb outside of Copenhagen on behalf of its European living fund. Financial details were undisclosed.
Lammekær, completed in 2019, is situated in Glostrup, a suburb to the west of Copenhagen.
The manager said the acquisition has been secured in cooperation with Copenhagen-based Rubik Properties, a partner for Invesco.
The latest transaction is the fourth residential investment Invesco has invested in on behalf of its institutional investors in Denmark in 2021.
John German, managing director - residential investments, Invesco, said: “Lammekær offers affordable, high-quality residential housing to families in a Greater Copenhagen location and as well as offering easy access into the city centre.”
William Ertz, a senior director – fund management, Invesco, said Lammekær “enables us to generate income from Day 1 and diversifies our fund to five countries within the first year of its launch.”
