Invel Real Estate has provided €111.2m in financing to support the redevelopment of an 87-key ultra-luxury hotel in Italy.
Invel said it has provided the loan to help transform the former Hotel Majestic into Baccarat Hotel Rome, operated by SH Hotels & Resorts which is undergoing a name change to become Starwood Hotels.
Invel has provided the loan to enable the conversion of the former Hotel Majestic into the Baccarat Hotel Rome, which will be operated by SH Hotels & Resorts, which is being rebranded as Starwood Hotels.
Originally opened in 1889, the property is undergoing a major refurbishment, scheduled for completion in late 2026.
