Igneo Infrastructure Partners is acquiring DAH Group, an energy and agricultural company in Germany, from Zech Group and the Gustav Zech Foundation for an undisclosed amount.
DAH, founded in 2016, operates 22 biogas plants within a radius of around 200km around Berlin and develops ground-mounted photovoltaic projects at various locations. DAH also cultivates around 20,000 hectares of agricultural land in eastern Germany.
Gregor Kurth, a partner at Igneo Infrastructure Partners, said Igneo’s ”long-term and sustainable investment philosophy is a perfect fit for climate-neutral biomethane and bioelectricity generation”.
“With its highly respected management and workforce, DAH has developed excellently in recent years and with this team is in an ideal position to implement future organic and inorganic growth,” Kurth added.
Kurt Zech, CEO of Zech Group, said the disposal of DAH Group is part of Gustav Zech Foundation and Zech Group’s plan to concentrate its efforts on the real estate and construction sectors.
