Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) has issued a $100m (€82.5m) commitment to the Partners Group’s latest global infrastructure fund.
The $45.2bn pension fund said in a meeting document that it placed the capital into the core-plus Partners Group Direct Infrastructure 2020 fund.
According to sources that track capital raisings, Partners Group has raised more than half of its $5bn fundraising target.
IMRF said it has also made a $50m commitment to Artemis Real Estate Partners Healthcare Fund II, a fund planning to raise $1bn to invest in US medical office, senior housing and debt assets.
