I Squared Capital’s latest global infrastructure fund is adding a transport equipment leasing company in Australia to its portfolio.

The ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III has agreed to buy Rentco for an undisclosed amount and intends to invest a further A$300m (€181m) to help expand the equipment lessor across the country.

Rentco provides leases transportation equipment on a short, medium and long-term basis.

The latest deal expands I Squared’s global leasing platform portfolio which includes FlexiVan, TIP Trailer Services, and Star Leasing.
