Chris Hogg, a former director at Amber Infrastructure, has joined OMERS Infrastructure to lead the manager’s investment efforts in digital infrastructure in Europe.
OMERS Infrastructure said Hogg, who has joined as director, will focus on “growing the portfolio beyond our two existing digital investments in the region: Deutsche Glasfaser in Germany, and XpFibre in France”.
Hogg was most recently a senior investment director at Amber, where he worked since November 2017. At Amber, Hogg headed digital infrastructure and led multiple investments across a range of subsectors.
Prior to that, he was a vice president at corporate finance advisory firm Arma Partners for three years and worked as an associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from June 2010 to November 2014.
Alastair Hall, head of Europe at OMERS Infrastructure, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Chris to the team. He brings a wealth of experience that will help to further enhance our investment team in Europe.”
OMERS Infrastructure is the infrastructure investment adviser and manager of OMERS, the defined benefit pension plan for municipal employees in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
