Swedish pensions and insurance group Folksam, through its municipal pension fund subsidiary KPA Pension, is acquiring a local rental multifamily project from Skanska for SEK500m (€45.5m).
The development, situated in Gothenburg’s Sankt Jörgens Park on Hisingen, comprises 142 rental apartments and a total leasable area of around 10,100sqm.
Developer Skanska said preparatory works are underway, with main construction expected in the final quarter of this year and completion on track for the second quarter of 2029.
