Edmond de Rothschild REIM is expanding its residential real estate strategy into Germany via a partnership with Fundament Advisory.

The companies have partnered to create EdR REIM Fundament (Fundament) to target all residential assets ranging from core to opportunistic.

Fundament, which forms part of the Edmond de Rothschild REIM platform, extends the firm’s residential strategies, which currently cover Switzerland and the UK.

Stephan Schaal, the head of investment of Edmond de Rothschild REIM Germany, said: “The team of Fundament Advisory will be a great partner for Edmond de Rothschild REIM Germany and also for the entire Edmond de Rothschild Group.

“With their entrepreneurial spirit and capacities within investment and asset management, Fundament Advisory is a perfect match for the German Edmond de Rothschild REIM platform.”

Schaal said the new joint venture completes Edmond de Rothschild REIM’s residential strategies in Switzerland and the UK, which already exceed €3.2bn.
