ECE Work & Live has teamed up with Spanish real estate firm Conren Tramway (CT) to launch a venture to deploy up to €400m in build-to-sell residential projects across Spain.

CT ECE Living is expected to secure capital from a dozen investors to fund projects in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, the Costa del Sol and Palma de Mallorca. The partnership will prioritise mid-market and affordable housing.

CT ECE Living’s first project will comprise 80 homes in El Prat del Llobregat, Barcelona, which is expected to start in late 2026.

Jan-Hendrik Walloch, managing director of investment at ECE Work & Live, said: “Spain is one of Europe’s residential markets with the strongest growth potential.

“Our partnership with CT is designed to capitalise on this long-term trend and enables us to strengthen our presence in Southern Europe alongside a partner that shares our values and long-term vision.”

Henrie W Kötter, CEO of ECE Work & Live, said: “As with our first residential project in Barcelona last year, this project fits perfectly with our strategic focus on developing assets in dynamic metropolitan areas within European countries experiencing strong economic and demographic growth, supported by sustained demand for modern, affordable housing.”
