Dartriver London has teamed up with German investment firms Conren Land and Indigo Invest to build a £1bn (€1.14bn) London real estate development and investment portfolio.
The trio have created CLI Dartriver to invest predominantly in office and some mixed-use assets in the UK capital.
The newly created business will be run by Neil Thompson and Ben Chambers, who were together longstanding directors at Great Portland Estates.
Indigo Invest, which entered the London market in 2016, will now conduct its London business via CLI Dartriver. David Gibson, previously managing director of Indigo Invest UK, will now retire.
“This is a transformational step for our business, it provides substantial firepower for us to execute our active approach to investment and development in London, Thompson said.
“Conren Land and Indigo are ideal partners for us. Together we will invest on behalf of significant private capital, focusing on the long-term strengths of the London market. London is adapting to new market conditions with an ever-broadening occupier base and sustained demand for investment opportunities.”
