CVC’s infrastructure arm CVC DIF has made its first European data centre investment with the acquisition of Adam Ecotech.
CVC DIF has invested an unspecified amount to acquire the company that owns three operating data centres in Barcelona and Madrid with a 7MW capacity. Adam Ecotech is also developing a new data centre and expanding its existing infrastructure to reach 12MW of capacity in the coming years.
CVC DIF said it will support Adam Ecotech’s expansion beyond Spain into wider European data-centre markets.
