The pan-European real estate investment arm of Columbia Threadneedle Investments has bought an asset in France for its residential fund.

Columbia Threadneedle Real Estate Partners (REP) has invested an undisclosed amount to buy the property in Clichy as the third asset for the CT Europe Residential fund. The asset was acquired from Hemisphere and Herrmann Frères & Fils.

Columbia Threadneedle REP said the 1,300sqm property, located at 14–16 Boulevard Victor Hugo, has 15 residential units.

The CT Europe Residential fund, which has an €800m investment volume target, invests in residential properties in the mid-market and affordable residential segments as well as senior living.

The fund, categorised as an Article 8 product under the new EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, acquired a senior housing asset in Lille in France in August last year and also bought a 5,600sqm asset in The Hague in March 2022.
