CIM Group’s Cole Office & Industrial REIT (CCIT II) has invested $39.1m (€35.7m) to buy a five-storey office in Maryland.
The non-listed real estate investment trust – focused on office and industrial properties – has bought the 132,000sqft office building located on 7.4 acres at 40 Wight Avenue in Hunt Valley.
Built in 2017, the building serves as the corporate headquarters for a regional engineering and design firm, CIM said.
The acquisition of 40 Wight Avenue follows CCIT II’s acquisition of four office buildings acquired in the last month.
