Italian real estate fund manager Coima SGR has acquired an office building at Via Paleocapa 7 in Milan, with plans to invest roughly €100m into the purchase and redevelopment of the office asset.

The property acquired through the COIMA ESG City Impact Fund currently offers fully leased, sustainable workspaces.

Coima said it intends to further enhance the building’s sustainability and flexibility for future use through additional investment.

Gabriele Bonfiglioli, CIO of Coim, said: “This acquisition reinforces the impact fund’s commitment to sustainable urban redevelopment, with ESG principles at the core of our strategy.”

Investors in the Coima ESG City Impact include Italian pension funds: Cassa Forense, the pension fund for lawyers; Inarcassa, the pension fund for architects; Cassa Commercialisti, a pension fund for chartered accountants; and Enpam, the pension fund for doctors.
