CBRE Global Investors has promoted Robert Perry to lead the real estate fund manager’s US fund series.

CBRE GI said Perry, a portfolio manager for CBRE Strategic Partners US Value 8, will head CBRE Strategic Partners US. 

In this role, Perry will lead and be responsible for all aspects of existing and future Strategic Partners US funds, including capital raising, investment and operations decisions, and financing strategy, it said.

The Strategic Partners US fund series has raised more than $9bn in equity in 11 funds and three co-investment vehicles in the past 18 years.

It currently has $6.1bn in managed assets and is investing its eighth value fund, Strategic Partners US Value 8.

Perry, who joined CBRE GI in 2016 and has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, is a member of the CBRE GI Americas Investment Committee, Global Leadership Team and Americas Leadership Board.
