Commercial real estate services and investment firm CBRE has acquired German retail consultancy Prime Consulting for an undisclosed amount.

Düsseldorf-based Prime Consulting specialises in leasing, advisory and property management services for shopping centres and retail parks across Germany.

Alexander von Erdély, CEO of CBRE Germany, said the acquisition of Prime Consulting will further “support our ambition to be the clear market leader in Germany” for shopping centre and retail parks leasing, consultancy and property management. 

Marco Hekman, CBRE’s divisional president of advisory services for Continental Europe, said: “CBRE is the market-leading retail adviser across Europe, managing more than 290 centres in the region. We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues from Prime Consulting, who enhance our service offering in Germany.”
