The infrastructure arm of Nordic private asset manager CapMan is acquiring a majority stake in helicopter services provider HeliAir Sweden.

CapMan Infra has reached an agreement to acquire the stake in the helicopter operator and lessor which delivers specialised aerial services across the firefighting, utilities and defence sectors.

Financial details were not disclosed.

CapMan Infra said its investment is intended to facilitate the next stage of growth for the Sweden-headquartered firm.

Ibrahim Makdessi, investment manager at CapMan Infra, said: “We are pleased to partner with HeliAir in its next phase of growth. The company has built a strong position in a market with high requirements for safety, availability and specialised operational expertise, supported by a high-quality fleet.
