Bouwinvest has named Jeroen Reijnoudt, former principal portfolio manager at MN Services, as head of Dutch transaction management and development.
Reijnoudt will assume responsibility for all aspects of Dutch real estate transactions, including sourcing, delivery, development, redevelopment and sales when he takes on the role in May.
At MN, where he worked for 15 years, Reijnoudt managed real estate portfolios across North America, Europe and the Netherlands.
In the Netherlands, he played a key role in founding real estate manager NLV and brings experience from working with major project developers and land management firms. In Europe, he was involved in the creation of several large open-ended residential real estate funds.
Allard van Spaandonk, CIO Dutch investments at Bouwinvest, said: “Bouwinvest wants to attract more clients from the Netherlands and abroad and invest capital to realise its ambitions in the built environment.
“We expect to make considerable investments in the coming years, and Jeroen’s team will play an important role on this front. His network at home and abroad and his background in investment management and real estate will help us translate our clients’ investment wishes into concrete propositions.”
Bouwinvest, which oversees €15.7bn in assets on behalf of the Dutch construction workers pension fund bpfBOUW, said it aims to increase its assets under management in the coming years, both through its funds and mandates in residential, healthcare, retail, hotel and office properties, and through new investment products.
