Blackstone’s energy-focused private equity business is acquiring a majority stake in environmental engineering and design consulting firm Geosyntec Consultants.
Blackstone Energy Partners has agreed to buy the undisclosed majority investment in Geosyntec a company which operates from more than 90 offices in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Geosyntec is focused on delivering technical solutions to a wide range of clients to address their environmental restoration, geotechnical, coastal, water quality and supply, infrastructure, and energy transition needs.

Today’s announcement builds on recent investments including Aypa, Array, Therma, Sabre and TDI.”
