BentallGreenOak is buying a portfolio of seven UK logistics assets from funds managed by Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing.

The global real estate investment manager said it has agreed to buy the 2.18m sqft portfolio of assets located on core logistics parks including Magna Park, Lutterworth, DIRFT, Hams Hall and Warth Park.

Financial details were undisclosed.

BentallGreenOak said the latest deal is in line with the firm’s strategy of acquiring or developing ”quality logistics assets in core, proven locations that will benefit from the continued growth in occupational demand, fuelled but further e-commerce activity”.

In December 2019, IPE Real Assets reported that Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing had teamed up with Thor Equities Group to buy a £241m (€273m) portfolio of seven UK big-box warehouses from Segro. The warehouses, known as the Tudor portfolio, were located in Warth Park, Raunds; DIRFT, Daventry; Rye Park, Hoddesdon; Hams Hall, Coleshill; Grove Park, Leicester; The Duke, Burton-on-Trent and Magna Park, Lutterworth.
