An energy infrastructure fund set up by B Capital Partners has invested an undisclosed amount to buy a German wind farm.

The B Capital Energy Transition Infrastructure fund has acquired Ravenstein, the owner of four wind turbines in Baden-Württemberg, with an overall installed capacity of 10MW.

The fund’s assets include 26 operational run-of-river hydropower plants in Norway.

B Capital said the deal allows the fund to further diversify its portfolio by adding a German feed-in premium wind farm.
