Arrow Capital Partners has acquired an 8,500sqm logistics asset in the Netherlands on behalf of its industrial real estate joint venture with Cerberus Capital Management.
Arrow Capital said the logistics asset in Almere has been acquired for the €3bn Strategic Industrial Real Estate (SIRE) joint venture from Nes Vastgoed.
The property, currently 77.1% leased, is scheduled for extensive refurbishment, Arrow Capital added.
Martien van Deursen, partner, head of Germany and Benelux at Arrow Capital Partners, said: “Our fourth acquisition for SIRE in the well-located logistics hotspot of Almere, Vlotbrugweg 10-20 provides another value-add opportunity for the portfolio, allowing us to increase our exposure to the area’s robust fundamentals.
“We are actively seeking to strengthen our logistics portfolio in the Netherlands – a high conviction market for us – through the selective acquisitions of standing assets and development sites across the country.”
