Arrow Capital Partners has acquired a £233m (€271m) Amazon-let logistics facility at Wakefield Hub in the UK from Mountpark Logistics.
The real estate investor said once the development phase of Wakefield Hub is complete, the multi-storey scheme will have a gross internal area of 2m sqft.
Marty McCarthy, managing partner at Arrow Capital Partners, said: “By developing multi-storey facilities like this one, we are able to significantly increase the amount of space available to e-commerce businesses in strategically important locations where there is fierce competition for land, while reducing our tenant customers operating costs.”
McCarthy said Arrow Capital currently has a portfolio in excess of £2bn of logistics developments and investments located across the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Austria and the Nordics.
