Arjun Infrastructure Partners (AIP) funds have acquired two portfolios of UK solar power plants from Ancala Partners.
Ancala said it sold the portfolio of 21 solar parks with a combined capacity of 97MW to the AIP funds for an undisclosed sum.
Ancala structured and financed the development of the portfolios in 2016 and has since overseen their operation, including the installation of utility-scale batteries across several of the sites, it said.
Lee Mellor, partner, Ancala Partners, said: “The portfolio has outperformed our business plan and will generate a significant return for our investors.”
