Henrik Steenstrup has been appointed CEO of AP Ejendomme, the property arm of Danish pension fund AP Pension.
Steenstrup will take up the post on 1 October 2026, succeeding Peter Olsson, who resigned in May after a decade in the role.
AP Ejendomme’s CFO Helle Grosser, who has been leading the company in an interim capacity, will continue as acting CEO of the property group until Steenstrup begins the role.
Steenstrup joins from CPH City & Port Development, where he has served as property director since 2019.
His prior experience includes senior positions across Nordea’s real estate investment, asset management and capital markets divisions, as well as roles at LD Equity and Danske Bank.
Bo Normann Rasmussen, CEO of AP Pension and deputy chairman of the board of directors of AP Ejendomme, said: “AP Ejendomme plays an important role in AP Pension’s overall investment activities.
“Therefore, it has been crucial to find a director with real estate expertise, commercial understanding and experience from investment. We have found that profile in Henrik Steenstrup. He has a strong background from both the real estate market and the financial sector, and we look forward to welcoming him,”
Steenstrup said: “AP Ejendomme is a significant player in the Danish real estate market with a strong portfolio and an important task in creating long-term value for AP Pension’s customers. I look forward to leading the company and working with the competent employees, the board of directors and partners on the further development.”
