US real estate investors ABR Capital Partners and Biynah Industrial Partners (BIP) have acquired three additional properties for their transportation-related industrial venture.

The partnership’s Transportation-Related Industrial Portfolio (TRIP) has invested an undisclosed amount to buy a truck terminal in Dallas, Texas, a five-acre truck trailer storage yard in Nashville, Tennessee and a two-building truck terminal with a maintenance facility in Phoenix, Arizona.

TRIP’s portfolio of truck terminals, truck parking and high flow-through industrial assets now includes 17 assets, the companies said, adding that additional acquisition opportunities are actively being pursued by the joint venture.

Jeff Josephs, managing partner at BIP, said: “We continue to engage with sellers of this product type throughout the country and are focused on the continued growth of the TRIP portfolio.”

Tom Burton, senior managing director and CIO of ABR Capital Partners, said BIP has “done a great job assembling a healthy portfolio and given the strong pipeline we anticipate the momentum will continue”.
