GLOBAL - Lend Lease Investment Management, Meyer Bergman, Alinda Capital Partners, Savills, CB Richard Ellis

Lend Lease Investment Management - Biren Amin has been hired to lead the equity division and will be responsible for all existing investor relationships and for raising capital. Previously, Amin worked for Goldman Sachs, Government of Singapore Investment Corporation and AXA. Meanwhile, Jonathan Crombie has been appointed senior fund manager for the Lend Lease Retail Partnership. He joins from JER Partners, where he was director of investment management. The Lend Lease Retail Partnership has also appointed Robert Peto as a non-executive director on the general partner board, following the retirement of Anthony Turnbull. Peto is current president of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

Meyer Bergman - The European real estate investment management firm has appointed Renee Moran as asset manager in its shopping centre asset management team. She will support Mark Gamble, head of asset management, in managing the firm's UK assets. Moran joins from Hammerson, where she was an asset manager responsible for a large number of shopping centres.

Alinda Capital Partners - The infrastructure investment firm has hired James Metcalfe, global head of power and utilities investment banking at UBS. Metcalfe will become Alinda's seventh partner and work alongside Graeme Bevans to focus on core infrastructure investments. Alinda had previously focused on value-add investments.

Savills - Brad Lyons and Steven Vazquez have both joined Savills LLC, the real estate investment banking company that serves as the group's North American headquarters, as vice-presidents. Lyons, who joins from Capital Trust, will be involved in arranging debt financing, including acquisition and construction financing, for new and existing clients. Vazquez was previously director of hotels at Aberdeen Realty Holdings and Cushman & Wakefield Sonnenblick-Goldman. He will focus on hotel investment sales, financings and note sales throughout North America at Savills.

CB Richard Ellis - Chris Hood has joined as managing director of workplace innovation at CBRE's global workplace strategy practice. Hood was previously at Hewlett-Packard, where he spearheaded the design of a programme to integrate and deliver space, technology, collaboration and services solutions into a single package.
