Mayfair Capital IMStephen Musgrave has joined the UK property fund manager as its new chairman, taking over for David Larkin, who is retiring from the role. Musgrave has held a number of senior positions in the commercial property world, most recently as managing director at Hines UK. Prior to that, he was chief executive at Grosvenor for the UK and Ireland, and before then, joint managing director at London Capital Holdings.

Green Property Alliance - Bill Hughes, managing director at Legal & General Property, has assumed the chairmanship of the Green Property Alliance, taking over from Martin Moore (PRUPIM). Before joining Legal & General, Hughes was UK head of real estate at RREEF, the property fund management business of Deutsche Bank. The Green Property Alliance, an offshoot of the Property Industry Alliance, is an umbrella organisation for a collection of property member organisations that collaborate to achieve a "more sustainable built environment".

Hermes Real Estate - Chief executive Tim Turnbull has resigned. A replacement has not been announced.

Investment Property Forum - Will Robson, director of property derivatives at PRUPIM, will succeed Nick Scarles, group finance director at Grosvenor, as chair of the IPF's Property Derivatives Interest Group (PDIG). Robson has been chair of the PDIG Working Group since 2009.

HSCB Alternative Investments - Caleb Mercer has been appointed associate director, having joined from JER Partners, where he worked in the pan-European acquisitions team.

Legal & General - Ashley Goldblatt has been appointed to develop a new strategy to provide debt financing to the real estate market. Goldblatt has worked in the insurer's fixed income department since 2007.

DTZ - Balázs Czifra has joined as country head for Hungary. Czifra previously worked as a commercial director for continental Europe at SEGRO.
