GLOBAL - LaSalle Investment Management, Investment Property Forum, Spearhead Capital Partners, Doughty Hanson, Matrix Group, Savills, Speymill, Capital Shopping Centres, AFIAA

LaSalle Investment Management - Jack Chandler will assume the title of global chief investment officer at the global investment manager. Chandler will also become executive chairman of LaSalle's Asia Pacific business. Philip Ling, currently managing director for Asia Pacific, will assume the title of chief executive for Asia Pacific, based out of the Singapore office. In his expanded capacity, Chandler will work with key investors and private equity teams to develop new investment ideas and products throughout the 30 countries where LaSalle is an active investor.

Investment Property Forum (IPF) - Amanda Howard is to become first the female chair at the IPF. Howard is a leading property lawyer and head of Nabarro's funds and indirect real estate team. She will become vice-chair when Aegon Asset Management's Phil Clark, European head of property investment, becomes chair in June 2011. Howard will take over as chair the following year.

Spearhead Capital Partners - Anthony Biddulph has left AMB Property Corporation, where he was senior vice-president, to join Spearhead as consultant for Europe and the Middle East.

Doughty Hanson - Edward Bates has left the private equity investor after three years as co-head of real estate. Fellow co-head Julian Gabriel has taken over the management of the real estate platform.

Matrix Group - The privately owned financial services business has hired Dipen Patel as credit analyst in its real estate division. Dipen, who specialises in commercial mortgage lending, will report to Rick Gambetta, manager of the recently launched Matrix Commercial Mortgage fund. Dipen joins from Lloyds Banking Group, where he was a senior analyst in the business support unit.

Savills - The international real estate agency has recruited Ana Zavala to direct its office agency team in Madrid. Previously, Zavala was director of real estate investments at Colliers, where she worked with national and international clients.

Speymill - Bob MacDonald has resigned as chief executive of the AIM-listed property services business. Denham Eke has taken over the role, while James Mellon has become executive chairman.

Capital Shopping Centres (CSC) - John Whittaker, chairman of the Peel Group, has been appointed as deputy chairman of the listed shopping centre group. Whittaker's appointment was one of the conditions of CSC's acquisition of the Trafford Centre mall in Manchester from Peel Group.

AFIAA - Peter Forstmoser joins the board of the global real estate investor, owned by 20 Swiss pension funds. Forstmoser is a lawyer at Niedere Kraft & Frey in Zurich, a professor at the University of Zurich and former chairman of the board at Swiss Re.
