GLOBAL - AXA Real Estate, Invesco Real Estate, Ernst & Young

AXA Real Estate - Laurent Vouin has been appointed as head of the company's opportunistic funds. These include the Development Venture III fund, launched in July, with equity commitments of €230m. Vouin will also be responsible for the Real Estate Opportunity Funds I and II, the second of which is currently in its acquisition phase. He joined AXA Real Estate in 2002 and was previously head of asset management in France, overseeing more than €13bn of assets. Before then, he held senior development roles at Tishman Speyer and Nexity.

Invesco Real Estate - Peter Feinberg has joined the asset manager's New York office as a portfolio manager and senior director. He will work with several of the company's separate account clients and be responsible for ensuring their portfolios meet return objectives given an appropriate risk profile. He is also a member of the Invesco Real Estate Investment Committee and Investment Strategy Group. Feinberg has more than 25 years of experience prior to joining Invesco in 2010, including 21 years at RREEF, where he held a number of positions.

Ernst & Young - Malcolm Bairstow has been hired to lead the consultancy's global construction and infrastructure practice. Based in London, Bairstow boasts more than 30 years in the property, construction and infrastructure sectors and has led a number of large, high-profile international projects. He is currently leading a number of advisory and assurance engagements for government and private sector clients. Ernst & Young said he had also played an integral part in the direction and growth of the company's global construction and infrastructure practice and had been a regular participant in its annual European construction CFO event and in the development of its annual report on the global infrastructure sector.
