AXA Real Estate – Matt Holberton has joined the firm’s US office as a business development director. Holberton was previously at Ares Management where he spent three years in a similar role. He will be based in New York and focus on deploying US capital in Europe.
M&G Real Estate – Itsusaburo Hirayama has been appointed as senior asset manager in Japan. Based in Tokyo, Hirayama will be responsible for M&G Real Estate’s Japanese property lease negotiations. Prior to joining M&G, Hirayama worked for Hitachi as a senior adviser. He has also held positions at Astro Japan Property Trust and Australian REIT Spring Investment.
CBRE Global Investors – David Inskip has been appointed as a senior associate in the firm’s UK research team. Inskip was previously at CBRE where he led its EMEA forecasting programme. He has also previously worked as an economist at Grosvenor and Experian.
Cushman & Wakefield – Seven staff have left Catella Corporate Finance to join Cushman & Wakefield in the Nordics. Anders Nordvall, Thomas Persson, Niklas Zuckerman, Per Hagman, Daniel Anderbring, Ola Jacobsson and Erik Dansbo will join the business at partner-level. Nordvall will become chief executive of Cushman Wakefield in Sweden. Current chief executive, Magnus Lange, will remain until the end of the year.
MaxCap Group – Felicity Ambler has joined the firm’s Melbourne office as head of distribution. Ambler will be responsible for capital raising, investor relations and marketing of their real estate debt capability. Ambler was previously at APN Property Group.
