CBRE Global Investors – Alice Connell has been appointed as an independent investment committee member for the Americas region at CBRE Global Investors. Connell is currently managing principal of commercial real estate at advisory firm Bay Hollow Associates. Before that, she held a series of senior positions at TIAA-CREF within commercial mortgage lending and real estate equity investing.
Bastion Infrastructure Group – Kevin Kerr has been hired as partner at Bastion Infrastructure Group, and will be based in Toronto. He worked at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board for more than 13 years in various roles. Most recently, Kerr was senior managing director at OMERS Strategic Investments.
Atrium European Real Estate – Ljudmila Popova has been promoted to the group executive management team of Atrium European Real Estate, from her previous position as head of business development and investor relations. Popova joined Atrium in April 2009 as group financial analyst. Before that, she was an equity research analyst at Kempen. The company also said Roger Orf had been appointed to the board as non-executive director following the retirement of Dipak Rastogi. Orf is a partner at Apollo Global Management and head of its real estate business in Europe, and will be one of Apollo’s appointed directors on the Atrium board.
Peakside Capital – Otis Spencer has been appointed as the new president of Peakside Polonia Management (PPM) in Poland. Boris Olujic, a principal, has been appointed to the board of PPM.
PwC – Simon Marriott has been hired as director and Algernon Kent as senior manager in PwC’s real estate practice. Both Marriott and Kent are chartered surveyors. Marriott joins from the role of managing director at Oxford Properties Group, and Kent previously worked at Hammerson as an investment surveyor in the London team.
CBRE – Natale Giostra is leaving CBRE to pursue different opportunities in the lending industry. Giostra is executive director and head of UK and EMEA debt advisory at CBRE and has been at the company for nine years.
CREFC Europe – Peter Cosmetatos has joined CREFC Europe as chief executive. He comes from the role of director of policy (finance) at the British Property Federation.
Henderson – Rob Gambi has been appointed CIO at Henderson, joining from UBS Global Asset Management, where he was group managing director and global head of fixed income. Prior to that, Gambi was head of equities and head of fixed income at AMP Asset Management (AMPAM) and Henderson.
Aviva Investors – Martin Zdravkov has been hired by Aviva Investors as assistant fund manager on its REaLM (Returns Enhancing and Liability Matching) Social Housing Fund. Zdravkov previously ran his own entrepreneurial consultancy, giving debt funding advice to registered providers and green technology ventures.
Darwin Property Investment Management – Mike Kew has been appointed sales director. He was previously a director of Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management.
Mayfair Capital Investment Management – Scott Fawcett has been hired as director of asset management at UK firm Mayfair Capital Investment Management, reporting to CIO James Thornton. Fawcett joins from Matrix Securities, where he was a director of fund management. Before that, he spent 15 years at Drivers Jonas, which is now Deloitte Real Estate, where he was an investment partner.
AXA Real Estate Investment Managers – Riccardo Dallolio has been appointed sector head of alternatives at AXA Real Estate, moving from a role as head of European transactions. Dallolio will be replaced as head of European transactions by Laurent Jacquemin, who is currently global head of corporate finance at AXA Real Estate. In turn, Philippe de Martel will be promoted from head of corporate finance France to replace Jacquemin.
Estavis – Rolf Elgeti has told Estavis he will give up the role of deputy chairman of the company’s supervisory board at the next regular AGM. He will leave the supervisory board of Estavis AG at the same time, the company said.
Mill Group – Richard Otten has been appointed as director of asset management at Mill Group. He was previously a director of Pinnacle Housing, where he was head of corporate management.
Franklin Templeton Investments – Peter Vincent has been hired as head of alternatives sales for Europe at Franklin Templeton Investments. He will be based in London. Prior to joining the company, Vincent worked at Fauchier Partners for seven years, where he was responsible for institutional business development and client relations in the UK and Ireland.
