GLOBAL – Pramerica Real Estate Investors, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Deloitte Real Estate, Cube Capital
Pramerica Real Estate Investors – Eric Adler has been named chief executive, succeeding Allen Smith. Smith, after 26 years of service, has announced plans to leave the company to become president and chief executive at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. He will remain with Pramerica to assist with the transition until Adler takes the helm in September. Adler, currently Pramerica CIO, joined the company in 2010 as head of its European operations. He was promoted to CIO in January 2013. Before joining Pramerica, he co-directed Tishman Speyer’s European activities. Before then, he led Morgan Stanley MSREF’s activities in Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
Deloitte Real Estate – Julian Stocks has joined as a senior partner specialising in strategic property advisory. He will take a leading role in advising clients on their real estate strategy, asset management and portfolio value. He joins from Tishman Speyer, where he was managing director of the UK business. Before then, he served on the English Board at Jones Lang LaSalle as head of capital markets.
Cube Capital – The alternatives investment manager has appointed Shailen Modi as COO. Joining from Fauchier Partners, where he was partner and CFO/COO, Modi has extensive experience in operational and financial roles. He will be responsible for Cube’s worldwide operations, finance and technology functions, in addition to sitting on the Risk Committee. He will assume the new role on 1 August.
