EUROPE - Portfolio manager Aqil Khan has left Basel-based real estate firm Adimmo after three years with the firm.
During that time, he was involved in building up the firm’s indirect investment capability.
Khan said he would continue his involvement with international investment and would take on an unspecified "new challenge" in the near future.
Although Khan indicated his successor has already been chosen, Adimmo did not respond to requests for further information.
In a separate development, Morley Fund Management last week announced it has appointed David Skinner as head of property research.
Skinner was previously head of European research at Prudential subsidiary Pramerica.
Morley spokesman Strahan Wallis said Skinner’s would be a newly created "support-type role", reporting to director of property strategy Nick Mansley.
This appointment is the latest in a raft of new hires during a period of intense expansion in Europe and a planned four-year, £5bn (€7.3bn) investment in Asia as recent recruits also include Ian Gleeson, former head of property at the Irish National Pensions Reserve Fund (NPRF).
This week should also see the fund manager appoint an Asia research analyst while further analyst appointment is expected in the near future.
