IVG Immobilien has launched an office real estate company and appointed Michiel Jaski as chief executive, who will join on 9 May, having previously held the same role at Grontmij.
The office portfolio, which will form the basis for the company’s future business activities, was worth around €3.2bn at the end of last year.
The move is part of an ongoing separation of IVG’s core portfolio of around 100 properties as a separate company.
The new company will have its headquarters in IVG’s The SQUAIRE at Frankfurt airport.
In addition to Grontmij, Jaski – who will work with COO Oliver Priggemeyer – has also worked for Arcardis, Philips and Shell, in the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK.
