National Pension Service (NPS) of South Korea has won Global Real Estate Investor of the Year at the IPE Real Estate Global Conference & Awards 2017 in Munich.
The pension fund also won awards for best investor from Asia-Pacific and best investment in Asia-Pacific.
Matthias Thomas, outgoing CEO of INREV, won the award for Outstanding Industry Contribution, following seven years at the helm of the European real estate association.
German pension fund Ärzteversorgung Westfalen-Lippe took the award for Real Assets & Infrastructure Investor of the Year.
Best Large Real Estate Investor went to Oxford Properties – a subsidiary of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System – for the second year in a row.
Best Medium Real Estate Investor was won by Denmark’s SEB Pension, and Best Small Real Estate Investor went to the Netherlands’ Pensieonstichting Transport.
Courtland Partners won the award for Best Investment Consultancy.
