Hemfosa has taken full control of a Swedish commercial real estate portfolio after buying a 50% remaining stake from Crown Nordic Management.

The deal gives the listed investor full ownership of the 26 commercial properties.

Hemfosa said the portfolio, which contains community-service properties, office and logistics properties in southern and central Sweden, has a total market value of around SEK1.3bn (€140m).

Hemfosa, through Kronfastigheter, had taken an initial half interest in the joint venture in late 2013.

The company had an option on the remainder of the 140,000sqm portfolio.

Around 70% of the portfolio is in Stockholm, Gävle and Uddevalla.

Jens Engwall, chief executive of Hemfosa Fastigheter, said the properties were an “ideal fit” for Hemfosa’s property portfolio, “geographically and strategically”.
