GLOBAL – Hermes, CBRE, IVG, Pramerica, Invesco, Cushman & Wakefield, AM Alpha
Hermes Real Estate Investment Management – The real estate management firm in the UK has appointed Marcus Palmer as head of real estate debt. Based in London, Palmer will report to Ben Sanderson, director of international investment, and be responsible for managing the real estate debt programme. He joins from Chalkhill Partners, where he was a partner.
CBRE Global Investors – The real estate investment firm has appointed Jean Lamothe as head of value add investments EMEA. Additionally, Michael Ness, managing director and head of separate accounts, has been appointed as UK country manager, a role he will combine with his current responsibilities. David Love, who was promoted to COO for the UK in February, will support him.
IVG – Michael Keppel, managing director of Keppel Managementpartners in Frankfurt, has been appointed as a member of the supervisory board of IVG Immobilien. The supervisory board of plans to elect him as chairman of the board shortly. Keppel will then succeed Stefan Jütte, who resigned in April. Meanwhile, Guido Piñol has been appointed as an ordinary member of the board of management and as COO. He will start in this new role on 1 October for a period of three years.
Pramerica Real Estate Investors – The firm has named Eryck Su as managing director and CIO for its Asia-Pacific business. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing the regional acquisitions and dispositions process. Su was most recently managing director and head of Greater China for Grosvenor Fund Management.
Invesco Real Estate – Christian Eder and Matthew Hall have joined the firm as associate directors of European research. The move comes as part of Invesco's plan to expand its European research and performance measurement functions in London and Munich. Kim Politzer now leads the European research team, reporting into Tim Bellman, head of global research. In addition, Chris Portlock has joined as director of performance management.
Cushman & Wakefield – The firm has named Carlo Barel di Sant'Albano as its interim chief executive, replacing Glenn Rufrano. Sant'Albano will continue to serve as chairman of C&W's board of directors and chief executive of the EMEA operations in addition to taking on these additional responsibilities until a new chief executive is appointed.
AM Alpha – Martin Lemke, until the end of the month a member of the management board at Patrizia Immobilien, is set to join the board of AM Alpha. The real estate company currently has offices in Munich and Singapore. Sebastian Lohmer, appointed managing director at the beginning of the month, will succeed Lemke at Patrizia.
