GLOBAL – INREV, Orchard Street Investment Management, Invesco Real Estate, Aberdeen Asset Management, Urban Exposure, Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark, Forum Partners, Redefine International
INREV – The European Association for Investors in Non-listed Real Estate Vehicles has appointed three new members to its management board. The appointments include Eric Adler, global CIO at Pramerica Real Estate Investors; Wenzel Hoberg, managing director and head of real estate investments for Europe at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board; and Allan Mikkelsen, partner ATP Real Estate. Jens Christian Britze, partner at ATP Real Estate; Timo Löyttyniemi, managing director at the Finland State Pension Fund; and Iris Aalders, strategy and organisation manager at CBRE Global Investors EMEA, have rotated off the board.
Orchard Street Investment Management – Philip Gadsden has been appointed as a partner. Gadsden has worked at Jones Lang LaSalle for more than 20 years, latterly as international director at LaSalle Investment Management. In 2001, he left LaSalle to co-found Gatehouse Investment Management, a boutique real estate specialist. Since then, he has been appointed chairman to the board at the Community Limited Partnership.
Invesco Real Estate – John German has been appointed director of residential investments. He joins from Grosvenor, where he spent the past eight years as the head of residential strategy. Before then, he spent four years with Aberdeen Asset Management as director of residential fund management.
Aberdeen Asset Management – Alek Misev has been named portfolio manager. Based in Amsterdam, he will work within the firm's property multi-manager team. He joins from Towers Watson, where he was head of Australian real estate and infrastructure, and has in the past worked for the Netherlands APG, overseeing its Australian and European unlisted real estate portfolio.
Urban Exposure – Corry Bourke has joined as a project monitor to oversee the company's existing loan portfolio and provide pre-funding technical advice and risk assessment for new schemes. He worked in a similar role at Davis Langdon for the past five years.
Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) – Ruben Langbroek has been appointed head of Asia. He joins from Jones Lang LaSalle in the Netherlands, Hong Kong and in Singapore, where he was associate director in the strategic consultancy department.
Forum Partners – Gregory Wells has been appointed as managing director and head of Asia. He joins from Deutsche Bank and will be responsible for overseeing the firm's private equity business in Asia. Wells has more than 25 years' experience in the real estate industry, with a particular focus on China and Japan.
Redefine International – Henry Giles has been appointed as an analyst. He joins from National Investment Agency, where he held the position of a senior surveyor, responsible for advising institutional investors, property companies and private individuals.
PRUPIM – The real estate investment management arm of M&G Investments has appointed Thomas Kächele as associate director in Germany.
