LaSalle Investment ManagementJason Kern will replace Peter Schaff as the CEO of LaSalle's Americas business. He joins from HSBC where he was head of the Asia-Pacific real estate and lodging advisory group. Schaff will remain with the company until the end of 2013 as North America chairman.

Starwood CapitalZsolt Kohalmi, formerly CIO at Meyer Bergman, has been hired to lead European acquisitions for the Starwood Global Opportunity Fund IX. Kohalmi will report to head of global acquisitions Jeff Dishner.

Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management – The real estate investment business (formerly RREEF Real Estate) has formed a new team that will focus on retrofits of properties and related energy-efficiency opportunities. It will be led by Jeff Baer who was most recently Deutsche Bank's head of global logistics services.

Grosvenor Fund Management – CIO James Raynor will succeed Jeffrey Weingarten as CEO in June. Weingarten will join the board of the Grosvenor Group as a non-executive director.

Pramerica Real Estate InvestorsMorgan Laughlin has been named head of the Asia business. Based in Tokyo, he replaces Victoria Shigehira Sharpe who has taken on a new role with the global institutional relationship group for Prudential Finacial's asset management business in Singapore.

Aareal BankDagmar Knopek has been appointed as a new member of the management board. She will be responsible for the markets in Aareal Bank's structured property financing business.

CBREGuy Hollis, who has led CBRE's business in Ireland since 2007, will expand his role to also become managing director of the Nordics business. Enda Luddy has been appointed manager director for Ireland, and Florence Stanley has been promoted to deputy managing director.
