BlackRock - Mark Long is joining Blackrock as director of property research in the London office. Long was formerly director investment strategy, research and indirects at Invista Real Estate.

Revetas Capital Advisors - Kiril Klaturov has been appointed to lead Revetas Capital Advisors' new Vienna office. He comes from a role in the banking, finance and capital markets group of law firm Schoenherr. Klaturov will oversee legal aspects of the specialist property advisors' new fund investing in real estate in central and eastern Europe (CEE) in connection with Patron Capital Partners, and transaction documentation and liaise with external legal advisors.

Ian Jones, who became the group's chief financial officer in February, has now been appointed partner and advisory board member. He is responsible for the firm's financial management and investor reporting. Before he joined Revetas, Jones was head of real estate at Langham Hall UK.

Revetas also appointed Markus Leininger to its investment committee. His most recent job was head of CEE at Commerzbank property financing unit EuroHypo.

The firm is also to open a new office in Budapest, and has appointed Patrick Wigan as its first regional director. Wigan will be responsible for sourcing, managing and financing acquisitions for the firm. Most recently, Wigan was acquisitions manager at Portico Investments, an investor in CEE real estate.

Pramerica Real Estate Investors - Alfonso Munk has been appointed chief investment officer for business in Latin America. He will oversee assets managed by teams in Miami, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Santiago.

Munk will report to Roberto Ordorica, regional head for Latin America. He comes to Pramerica Real Estate Investors from the role of managing director with Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing, where he held various roles in over the last 10 years in Europe and South America.

SilkRoad Property Partners - Peter Wittendorp is now managing partner of new firm SilkRoad Property Partners in Singapore, which he set up as a spin-off from AEW Asia. He was previously managing director and head of Asian business at AEW Asia, and is joined at SilkRoad Property Partners by six other colleagues from the real estate investment manager.

Wittendorp will continue as portfolio manager of AEW Value Investors Asia Property fund, as his new firm will be the sub-advisor to AEW Asia.

Ernst & Young - Mark Gibson and Josh Herrenkohl have been appointed co-leaders of the firm's Construction and Real Estate Advisory Services (CREAS) practice in the US. They succeed Mark Costello, who recently became Global leader of Real Estate Advisory Services at Ernst & Young.

Gibson is based in California, and will manage the practice in the western US, while Herrenkohl will head up the practice in the east from his base in New York.
