GLOBAL - Invesco Real Estate, Aisi Realty Public, Ernst & Young, Helical Bar, Principal Real Estate Investors, iCON Infrastructure, Jones Lang LaSalle

Invesco Real Estate - Timothy Bellman, the former global head of research and strategy at ING Real Estate Investment Management, is to head up global research at Invesco. Based in Invesco's Dallas office, he will focus on global asset allocation and coordinate research produced by regional heads in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Aisi Realty Public - The real estate investment company, focused on south-eastern Europe, has appointed Álvaro Portela as non-executive director. He was previously the executive president and chief executive at Sonnae Sierra for 20 years. Harin Thaker, formerly chief executive for Europe at Hypo Real Estate, has joined as non-executive director.

Ernst & Young - Mark Costello, for many years the managing partner of the company's Americas construction and real estate advisory services practice, has been appointed global leader of the real estate advisory practice. Costello replaces Malcolm Bairstow, who will continue to head the global infrastructure and construction practice.

Helical Bar - Giles Weaver, who has been a member of the board for nearly 19 years and chairman for seven, will not stand for re-election as a non-executive director at Helical Bar's annual general meeting in July. Fellow long-serving directors Antony Beevor and Wilf Weeks will also step down. Nigel McNair Scott, a director since 1985 and finance director since 1987, is to become non-executive chairman. Tim Murphy will be promoted from deputy finance director to finance director. Two new independent non-executive directors will be appointed following the AGM - Richard Gillingwater and Richard Grant.

Principal Real Estate Investors - Michelle Fang has joined as marketing director from General Electric Asset Management. Fang will be responsible for marketing and production promotion across Principal's real estate investment range, including REITs, CMBS, private debt and equity.

iCON Infrastructure - Iain Macleod has been appointed as a partner at iCON, which focuses on core infrastructure investments in Europe and North America. Macleod joins from Deutsche Bank, where he spent 11 years in the infrastructure business.

Jones Lang LaSalle - A new centralised team of retail consultants in Berlin has been launched to provide bespoke service for international clients. The team will be led by Andreas Kogge, director for retail leasing Berlin, supported by Thomas Mauritz, who joins as a director from Hennes & Mauritz. James Dolphin, head of retail leasing at JLL, will also join the team in Berlin, along with consultant Florian Bitter and head of retail leasing Rüediger Thräene.
