GLOBAL - Bouwfonds REIM, Aviva Investors, Corestate, Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance, TriLyn, Proskauer

CBRE Group - Chief executive Brett White is to retire at the end of this year, with Robert Sulentic, currently CBRE's president, succeeding him on 31 December. Sulentic also served as CFO in 2009 and before that was group president with responsibility for the EMEA, Asia Pacific and Development Services businesses. White will remain on the board following his retirement, the company said.

Bouwfonds REIM - Jaap Gillis has been appointed chief executive at the €7.3bn Bouwfonds REIM, the property branch of Rabobank, as of 1 August, when he will succeed Jean Klijnen. Until 1 April, Gillis was COO at property investor and developer Redevco, after having been in management at property developer Amstelland/MDC and ING Real Estate. He is also chairman of the Dutch Green Building Council.

Aviva Investors - Elysia Tse has been appointed senior vice-president of strategy and research of the Asia Pacific real estate business. She joins from BlackRock, where she was director of research and strategy for real estate equity. Before then, she held positions in the research and strategy team at Citigroup Property Investors and LaSalle Investment Management.

Corestate - Sascha Wilhelm has been appointed managing director of Capital Advisors in Frankfurt and head of asset management, overseeing German asset management activities. Nikolai Dëus-von Homeyer re-joins in the corporate development area, while Patrick Muûls joins the investor relations team in London. Wilhelm was previously managing partner at Seitz Real Estate Group, Dëus-von Homeyer has worked for Corestate from its inception, while Muûls was previously with Adam Street Partners.
 
Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance - Barry Osilaja is to leave Jones Lang LaSalle, where he has been UK head of debt and structured finance since 2002. He plans to move to Africa and will be staying on at the firm until the summer to oversee client handovers. Dominic Reilly and Richard Porter will now head debt advisory in London.

TriLyn - The company has formed an investment management platform focused on high-yield commercial real estate debt. Joining TriLyn founder Mark Antoncic to run the investment management unit is John Feeney Jr. Feeney joins from Brookfield Investment Management, where he held a number of positions, including chief executive and head of the investment committee.

Proskauer - Leslie Loffman has been appointed a tax partner of the real estate capital markets group. He joins from DLA Piper, where he served as co-chair of the REIT practice, and before that director of national REIT services at Ernst & Young.
