GLOBAL - IVG Immobilien, Macquarie Investment Management, Brookfield Asset Management, AMP Capital, Gagfah, Tristan Capital Partners, Hogan Lovells

IVG Immobilien - Stefan Jütte, current chairman of the board at Postbank, is expected to take over as chairman of IVG's supervisory board at the annual general meeting in mid-May. He will succeed Detlef Bierbaum, who will step down from the board after eight years. The company's new management team now consists of chief executive Wolfgang Schäfers, CFO Hans Volkert Volckens and COO Christian Kühni.

Macquarie Investment Management - The company, part of the Macquarie Funds Group, has appointed four senior executives to strengthen distribution across Europe. The new hires include Jerry Devlin, head of UK financial institutions; Richard Guerin, head of European consultant relations; Xavier Michel, pooled funds managers; and Kate Giblin, sales and marketing support manager.

Brookfield Asset Management - Grant Berlin has joined the firm as a senior vice-president responsible for institutional investor relations in the private funds group, with a focus on real estate funds. He joins from Alliance Bernstein, where he was managing director and head of real estate fundraising. Before then, he served as a managing director at Tishman Speyer.

AMP Capital - David Rees has been appointed co-head of asset management within the London-based European infrastructure team. He joins from National Grid, the international network energy company, where he held a number of senior finance roles. He was also chairman of trustees and a member of the investment committee of National Grid's UK pension scheme.

Gagfah - The residential property manager has announced the departure of board member and chief executive William Joseph Brennan. Brennan, who has been the group's head since April 2009, will be succeeded by current chief financial officer Stephen Charlton. In turn, Gagfah's head of finance and financial controlling Gerald Klinck will assume the CFO role on an interim basis.

Tristan Capital Partners - The UK-based boutique has appointed Nik Haigh as director of client relations, responsible for expanding investor relationships in Canada and the US. Haigh re-joins Tristan having previously worked with the asset management team of Tristan's predecessor, Curzon Global Partners, from 2004 to 2009.

Hogan Lovells - Lasse van Waegeningh will become a member of the company's real estate group in Amsterdam, focusing on real estate deals, litigation and structuring advice for commercial real estate clients. Van Waegeningh started his legal career in 2003 at Lexence.
