GLOBAL - INREV/APG, KPMG, WestImmo, Benson Elliot, Tristan Capital, Hermes, Forum, Colliers, Arcadis, Grosvenor

INREV/APG - Patrick Kanters, managing director of global real estate at APG Asset Management, will take over as chairman at the INREV annual general meeting on 24 April in Vienna. Kanters will replace current INREV chairman Michael Morgenroth, who was recently appointed to the board of Austrian real estate fund manager SIGNA Group.

KPMG - The accountancy firm has appointed Stephen Barter as chairman of its real estate advisory practice. Barter will be based in London and focus on expanding KPMG's international client base and growing the real estate advisory business. He will also be in charge of providing corporate finance and strategic advice to leading investors, fund managers, developers and occupiers.

WestImmo - Peter Knopp is to be replaced by Claus-Jürgen Cohausz as chairman of the managing board. Knopp will depart once annual results have been approved in late April. He has held the position since 2007, previously working as head of the debt capital markets division at Eurohypo. His departure has triggered a number of changes on the company's supervisory board, with parent company WestLB's chief financial and risk officer Thomas Groß named chairman with immediate effect and Stefan Dreesbach, currently head of debt markets at WestLB, becoming a board member.

Benson Elliot Capital Management - The private equity real estate firm has appointed Georg Strassner and James Jakeman in senior roles. Strassner and Jakeman will focus on the German-speaking and UK markets, respectively.

Tristan Capital Partners - The pan-European real estate investment manager has appointed Adam Smith as a director of client relations, where he will have particular responsibility for developing relationships with investors in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific markets. He will report to Monica O'Neill, head of client relations and marketing.

Hermes Real Estate Investment Management - The firm has appointed Matthew Howard as investment surveyor. Focused on the UK core portfolio, he will report directly to fund director Chris Darroch.

Forum Partners - Enda Farrell has joined the company where he will be responsible for sourcing loans from Irish financial institutions, creating new products for investment in Ireland and helping Crown (one of the Forum European Realty Income III investments) build their loan servicing platform for Irish banks.

Colliers International - Benjamin Jung joins the company's German research team, specialising in geographical information systems. While studying for his degree at the TU München, Jung completed an internship at ERSI's California headquarters.

Arcadis - The consultancy has announced that Marcin Klammer, location leader for EC Harris in Poland, has been appointed as the new chief executive for Arcadis in Poland. He will continue to lead EC Harris Poland for the time being, and both firms will continue to operate as separate entities.

Grosvenor - Grosvenor Asia Pacific has appointed Christopher Ip as finance director. He takes on overall responsibility for finance functions for Grosvenor Asia Pacific. He succeeds William Lo, who has been appointed to the newly created role of chief operating officer.
